One of the spa industry’s pioneers, Ron Clearwater, owner of Hydra Plastics, Inc. and its flagship brand Clearwater Spas is pleased to announce his retirement and the formation of the company’s new parent company, Thermal Hydra Plastics. Clearwater Spas new parent company, Thermal Hydra Plastics will continue to grow and build the Clearwater Spas and Birch Bay Hot Tubs® brands for their dealers throughout the world. Larry Richards, Vice President of Hydra Plastics, Inc. who has also been a driving force in the growth of the company for over 25 years, will continue to lead all operations and sales of the newly formed company as CEO. All existing management will also remain and continue to grow its hot tub brands and provide dealer support. Ron Clearwater has been a leading innovator in the spa industry for 37 years. Hydra Plastics, Inc. was established in 1976 and has grown its successful hot tub dealer brands into 15 countries. Clearwater Spas leads the industry with many innovations in superior quality, energy efficiency and product support unmatched by any other. All management and staff of Hydra Plastics will miss his presence. We have been assured he is available to us for consulting and advise! Larry Richards and a local Pacific Northwest private investment group have formed Thermal Hydra Plastics as the new company owners and will continue to build upon the growth opportunities with Clearwater Spas and its other hot tub brands.
