IT’S SHOW TIME FOR MARQUIS
SPASĀ®’ 2009 PRODUCT LINE
Oregon spa manufacturer launches new show-stopping flagship
Date: 10/24/2008
Independence, Ore. – It’s Show time at Marquis Spas. Literally. The
Oregon spa
manufacturer is launching its 2009 hot tub line, including the brand
new flagship
spa – the ShowTM.
“The Show marks a new direction for us,” says President and CEO John
Schrenk. “It has a re-defined Marquis design language and signifies
the future
route for all our spas. It’s undeniably a Marquis spa, with a lot of
extra visual
stimulation, adding to the large wow-factor. We’ve really cranked it
up a couple
of notches.”
The Show is a party just waiting to happen. The spa’s theater
seating design
directs everyone toward the focal point – the built-in E-Suite™
monitor. Now
customers can watch a movie, right from the comfort of their Marquis
spa. For
those consumers not into movie-watching, the Show can be bought with
a builtin
beverage cooler instead.
For maximum hydrotherapy pampering, the new model has multi-level
seating
that includes a deep Captain’s seat with an extreme therapy arch
that indulges
every inch from the neck down, to the wrists, and even the sides of
the knees.
The seating also includes two Adirondack chairs, a super deep soak
seat with
footwell therapy, and a cool down seat.
“When people see the 2009 Marquis line, I believe they’ll notice
it’s not the same
old Marquis,” adds Schrenk. “We’re definitely more exciting than
we’ve ever
been.”
All Marquis’ spas have received an updated, more attractive look for
2009. The
waterfalls have become larger and a MoodMakerTM Light System has
been

providing backlighting to the water features as well as the new,
softer
cushioned headrests. The larger waterfalls are in addition to the
waterfall with a
convenience tray. Besides the MoodMaker and Aqua Ambiance™, the
ConstellationTM Light System that features lights placed below the
waterline as
well as exterior lights, is also available.
The AdagioTM Audio System is now available on all spas. Adagio adds
an
AM/FM/CD dimension to the spa experience and it’s iPod and MP3
player
ready. The system comes with either pop-up speakers that can rotate
to direct
the sound or with surface mount speakers for the two smallest spa
models.
The jets now come in many additional varieties, such as dual-port
and multi-port.
Marquis’ patented HKTM40 high flow jets have been moved or added to
many of
the spa models for extra powerful hydrotherapy including access to
interior
muscle groups such as chest and arms. New jet design features
stainless steel
jet trim which is now standard on all models.
Marquis’ spas come in three collections – Discovery, Signature and
Ultimate.
Marquis’ Discovery Collection has basic essential features and
various a-la-carte
options while Marquis’ Signature Collection has the most popular
features as
standard equipment and exemplifies Marquis’ vision of what a hot tub
should be.
Marquis’ Ultimate Collection is for the consumer who wants it all.
All spas are
available in all three collections, except for the two largest
models - the Show
and the Epic - that are not available in a Discovery configuration.
Marquis Spas’ 2009 product line will be shown in its entirety at the
International
Pool/Spa/Patio Expo in Las Vegas, Nev., November 18-20.
