MARQUIS SPAS®’ RETAIL DIVISION OPENS STORE IN CALIFORNIA

Spa manufacturer ventures south to open fourth retail store, first Marquis-owned store in California

Independence, Ore  – Marquis Spas®’ retail division is venturing south by opening a store in Camarillo, California, on May 16. The spa manufacturer already has three stores in Clackamas, Tigard and Salem, Oregon.

 

“It’s very exciting to be able to open up a fourth store and to do it in California,” said Bill Wells, Marquis Vice President of Retail. “The site of the new Marquis store has been a spa store for ten years so this is a perfect opportunity for Marquis to provide service to established customers, and to also intensify our efforts in that marketplace.”

 

The grand opening festivities on May 16 will include a ribbon cutting ceremony in the afternoon. New customer offers include special financing or a free one year supply of chemicals with the purchase of a new spa.

 

Marquis Spas is a preferred provider to the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of America. One of the first orders of business for the new store will be to work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Tri-Counties to grant the wish of a Camarillo child to have a hot tub.

 

The new store will have a slightly different focus from the spa manufacturer’s current Marquis Casual Living (MCL) stores in Oregon. The new store’s name will be Marquis Spas and it will carry and focus on spas and saunas only, rather than a full array of backyard and casual living products. The store will also sell a full supply of spa chemicals and accessories.

 

The Marquis Spas store will be managed by Zak Meaut. He is consistently one of the top Marquis spa salespeople in the United States and has been with Marquis’ retail division for several years. Meaut most recently worked in MCL’s Clackamas store.

The approximately 2,000 square-foot Camarillo store is in an excellent location, right off of Highway 101, a well-traveled, busy highway. It’s located in the Camarillo Town Center, a large shopping center close to a premium outlet mall.
