2000 Aqua 100 Award

You may have heard of the Fortune
500. Well, the pool and spa industry has what’s called the Aqua 100. It
is a very prestigious listing of the top 100 pool and spa businesses in
the United States. Each year, the trade publication Aqua Magazine
researches thousands of businesses in order to publish their new listing.
We were very pleased to find out that Poolandspa.com & Long Island Hot Tubs made the final
cut !
This is the sixth time that we have
won the Aqua 100 award and we are one of only a handful of pool and spa
companies that have ever been listed six times.
The award signifies outstanding
achievement, knowledge, performance and quality customer service in the
pool and spa industry.
Aqua Magazine also has a very
special distinction for companies who have won the award five consecutive
times. It is called the Hall of Fame. Any company that wins five times in
a row is inducted into the Hall of Fame forever. Only 15 pool and spa
companies in the country have ever been inducted. Since this is our fifth
time in a row, Poolandspa.com & Long Island Hot Tubs will be inducted next year !
Not only is this a great honor for
us, but also for the Spa Industry in general. You see, most of the
companies that have won the Aqua 100 Award are always pool companies.
Because there are many more pool companies than spa companies, that sort
of makes sense. Many times, spa companies are thought of as “second
class citizens” within this industry. So having a spa company inducted
into the Hall of Fame is a great accomplishment !
Being
a member of the exclusive Hall of Fame will also allow members of our
staff to judge other companies in future Aqua 100 competitions.
The year 2001 is also our
twenty-first anniversary, so this award is twice as important to us—and
we are very grateful to all our loyal customers, without whom this award
would not have been possible.
We hope that we can continue to
provide America with top quality pool and spa products for at least
another 20 years ! Thank you all for putting your trust in us.
