Alpharetta, Ga. — Advantis Technologies has contributed $1,000 to
the Georgia APSP Drought Relief Fund.
Advanits responded to the call from the Association of Pool and Spa
Professionals (APSP) to join the fight for the construction and
water rights of pool contractors across the state, who are facing
false perceptions and governmental interference with the use of
water as it relates to construction permits, filling new pools,
renovations, service and repairs.
Georgia’s APSP leadership endorsed a three-layered approach to
combating these false perceptions. The group plans lobbying efforts,
public relations, and economic impact studies and education. This
work is being funded by a combination of APSP’s budget and generous
contributions from pool industry members including Advantis
Technologies.
“There was no question that our company would support the efforts of
the APSP regarding this important issue,” said Michael Moore, Vice
President of Marketing. “Because Advantis is based just outside the
Metro Atlanta area, we see the effects of the drought first-hand and
will do all we can to help the livelihoods of those affected.”
Advantis Technologies manufactures some of the most popular
specialty products for swimming pool and spa water care. The
Advantis product lines Leisure Time, GLB, Robarb, Applied
Biochemists and Ultima are sold by professional pool and spa
retailers throughout the United States. For more information, call
