Pentair Updates Legend Cleaners, Offers $50 Rebate

SANFORD, N.C., February 2008 — Pentair Water Pool and SpaŽ has
redesigned its popular Legend and Legend II pressure-side automatic
pool cleaners, giving them a sleek new look and enhancing debris
collection capacity.
Now with 60 percent larger debris bags, both models to capture more
dirt and require less frequent emptying. That translates to lower
maintenance for end-users. Legend and Legend II bags now also have
wider openings and a new snap-lock closure that is easy to operate
and reliably stays closed.
In addition, both Legend models have a wider base, four-wheel design
to prevent tipping, and an extra-large intake throat that picks up
large leaves, twigs and other debris with ease.
Also new for 2008, Legend and Legend II have been added to Pentair’s
cleaner rebate program. Retail purchases made between January 1,
2008, and December 31, 2008, in the United States and Canada qualify
for a $50 cash rebate. Dealers and new cleaner owners can obtain
