1997 NSPI Consumer Influence Award Presented

The National Spa & Pool Institute is the industry’s "governing body" and trade organization. In November of 1997, they presented their first annual Consumer Influence Awards to a few of the Nation’s leading pool & spa firms. The award signifies excellence in promoting the industry and its products to the public in a variety of media. Among this year’s winners were some of the biggest names in the industry - Hayward, Fort Wayne, BioLab, Pacific Industries, Watkins Manufacturing (Hot Springs Spas), ICI Acrylics, Pacific Industries, Sun Pool Chemicals, Thermo Spas - and a little company named Poolandspa.com (Long Island Hot Tubs) !

Yes, we were given the award for the Best Retail Consumer Web Site in the entire USA. Needless to say, we were flattered to be included in a listing of the biggest pool & spa manufacturers in the world. A big "Thank you" goes out to the folks at NSPI !
