After a surge of interest at last November’s Piscine 2006 Exhibition in Lyon, France, Aquatherm Industries is proud to announce the release of its Sunlite™ solar pool heating collector in the United States. The Sunlite™ collector’s radically different design incorporates an innovative, patented overmolded header and stem block insert, which minimizes stress failures at the header and insures years of trouble-free operation. Thermal stress failures are generally caused by varying degrees of expansion and contraction between traditional header and plate connections; the Sunlite™ collector is engineered to relieve this thermal stress.

Sunlite™ collectors represent a new age in solar pool heating – the revolutionary overmold and stem block header design has been awarded two U.S. patents as well as one European patent, with another U.S patent-pending for the vented web design. The vented web allows for moisture ventilation for the roof and wind load relief during adverse weather conditions.
