Ever since we became a national mail order company through the use of our Web Site (www.poolandspa.com), we have become accustomed to the media interest in our little company. Poolandspa.com has always done exceptionally well over the Internet because the current demographics of the "typical" Internet user happens to coincide with those of Hot Tub owners.

As you have probably heard, making money directly off the Internet has been the "Holy Grail" for many businesses, however it just happened to come naturally for us. Being such, many magazines, newspapers and radio shows have done stories about out so-called "Net Success". It is not unusual for some member of our staff to be interviewed by some reporter at least once a week.

As a matter of fact, Jaclyn Easton, the best selling author of "Shopping on the Internet" is writing her new book "Profiles of Incredibly Successful Web Sites" that will include "The Poolandspa.com & Long Island Hot Tub Story". Although we love this level of attention, we never expected to get a call from a major network TV show !

In the beginning of October 1997, we were contacted by a producer from C|NET Television. They produce TV.COM, C|NET Central, The Web and The Edge. They filmed a story about us which will aired on over 100 WNBC stations across the country in November 1997. They did a really good job. They called Poolandspa.com "Electronic commerce at its finest on the Internet". Maybe you can find it in reruns somewhere ! So the next time you talk to one of our Spa Guys on the phone, you actually may be talking to a new celebrity !
