Hello everyone, I am a recent purchaser of the Master Spa Twilight series TS 7.2
I bought this spa from an expo in Ottawa on May 14. When arriving at the expo there was a guy handing out flyers warning consumers about some major issue (which we didn’t pay much attention to).
We walked in and dealt with a sales guys who seemed very knowledgeable and friendly. We gave him a rough idea of what we were looking for and he spent the time with us going through the floor showing us what was available. Originally the twilight model was out of our price range but going back and forth in negotiating, he made it close to what we had in mind in spending.
The twilight tub had the most features compared to all other tubs on the floor, it had the waterway pump (brand name), the hydrotherapy jets and the duratemp skirt package. So we decided to go for it! He threw in a cover, cover lift, steps, gfci and chem kit.
So far, working with them has been great! I’ve set an appointment for them to deliver my tub, I have had email communication with my sales person which is comforting.
Despite all of the negative reviews seen on these messages boards, this has been a pleasant experience for me so far.
So roughly a month later after purchasing the twilight series 7.2 by Master Spa, I have received it, electrical work has been done, filled it up with water + chems, took my first dip and IT ABSOLUTELY ROCKS!!
The 2 6HP pumps (12HP total) really feels good and doesn’t leave a desire for more power from the jets. The water features, ie: hydrotherapy jets for the neck and feet, control valves, water fall features, the volcano jets (at the bottom), the light shows are items that makes this tub awesome! The pumps are quite when running (both in standby and high). The water temperature doesn’t seem to drop, at all! Meaning, we have it set to 90F but it won’t go lower then 97F which is a good sign. I’m sure during the winter months this will change but it goes to show that the insulation is working. Maybe it works too well, because when you got 4 bodies in there, the temperature really rises to almost an unbearable heat which makes for an early exit. I suppose the tub will heat up the water but it will not cool it down.
I did experience one minor issue which I was able to fix myself. In standby mode, the pump would cause vibration which would make the side panel rattle and make a real annoying sound. By unscrewing the panel and shifting it over a bit seem to have resolved that issue.
All that said, I am still tweaking my chems to get a good water balance. But overall, I am very pleased with my tub this far!
Hope this helps with purchasing your tub!

Hey Carl,
Just curious what you set your mode on for circulation and heating. We have had our twilight series for 1 month now, and it's getting cold in Washington. We had it set on economy mode at 2hr every 12, but have now changed it to 8 hs duration, which I believe means it will circulate 8 hours out of the 12 hours, but in the winter time should we be setting it on standard mode. Would appreciate a reply.

My friend bought one, he haven't experienced the pool pump rattling issue. However he tried to install it with a solar spa cover and he found out that what he have done doesn't seem to work. I don't know if Master Spa has its own spa covers fit for their products.

That's some shameful spam there poolhero...and for a product you're selling at almost TWICE the cost of what others sell it for.

Here here SPAGRL,
Customers are so funny and gullible.. They'll believe anything a sales guy tells them.
I remember when I sold spas retail, I had a Master Spa filled up right next to a Hot Springs filled up... I would have them stick there hand in the Master 1st and say "That's 6 HP", then I'd have them get there hand blown off in the Hot Springs and say "That's 2.5 HP"...I still remember the confused look they had...LOL

I wouldn't believe a word this guy says. He got his tub in Ottawa from a company called PREMIUM WHOLESALE HOME & LEISURE which are the biggest scammers going, especially that owner he has to be the biggest idiot around. Word of advice never deal with premium wholesale. These guys are based in Kitchener and Missisauga
