Look into a Watkins spa if you want quality, I can't compare them to LifeSpas as I'm not familiar with the brand. Watkins is the leading spa builder in the US and several lines including Hot Spring, Tiger River, Caldera and a couple others. To my knowledge they have the best warranty and after sales service in the industry as their dealers are REQUIRED by them to service them. They are pricier than other brands though. You get what you pay for. (Most of the time)

LifeSpas is a national company. The company offers a factory warranty that is one of the best in the industry with many referrals from happy customers. They have a huge selection from which to choose, more than most spa stores. Low overhead lets them pass savings on to customers. "We make custom spas to fit the needs of customers-from two people to whole families-making the possibilities endless," said Donna Durfee, general manager. "You can have it your way."

I’m not sure how 3 stores in So. CA makes them a “national company”. Living in Phoenix I attended one of their “appointments” a few years ago. It’s exactly the high-pressure, bash the competition, buy now or never style some of their reviewers describe. And their Phoenix store is now closed. “Huge selection” – I think they had maybe 6 spas. Glad I didn’t buy. I wound up buying another brand so I know their 2-year warranty for plumbing & equipment is a long way from “best in the industry”. They have a lot of negative reviews so “happy customers” seems a real stretch. Bottom line: There are much better choices than Lifespas. Save yourself the headaches.
