Posts: 3 		Our indoor pool uses Bromine instead of chlorine.
I can't maintain my ph level at a reasonable figure. It has been measures at 8.0 and above at times.
Does anyone know what may cause this?
All the other chemicals measure fine.

I have found that my customers that have indoor pools have pH levels that run high mostly because of the lack of rain.(rain water being acidic) I have found that lowering the alkalinity level in the water will help reduce the pH creep that will happen to indoor pools. I shoot for a level about 80 on ALK. Because the bromine salts build up in the pool water your pH will still rise but with the lower Alk. it will stay in balance longer.

Posts: 3 		Thanks for your input. We keep our alkalinity at 80 to 100 ppm.
our calcium runs about 250 ppm and the bromine is 3 to 4.
