is there any thing special i need to do if i plan on running the pump all winter?

would it be best to also get the "winterize" chemical kits?

Hi,

I wouldnt bother with a winter kit just add algaecide and a 3" tabs once and a while you'll be fine. I keep my own pool running all year i'm in Va, just be careful of the power going out if its below freezing you need to take out the winter plugs.
