Posts: 1 		is there any thing special i need to do if i plan on running the pump all winter?

would it be best to also get the "winterize" chemical kits?

I wouldnt bother with a winter kit just add algaecide and a 3" tabs once and a while you'll be fine. I keep my own pool running all year i'm in Va, just be careful of the power going out if its below freezing you need to take out the winter plugs.

Loc: Louisiana 		i ran mine last winter instead of covering it- not much hassle- hardly required any chlorine, but the leaves were still a mess to keep up with.
