Rat Tale

Sure the Rat Zapper is great, but there is more to tell. The optional Rat Tale makes the world's best mouse (and rat) trap even better. The Rat Tale lets you know when you need to empty the Rat Zapper with a blinking red light. The 12 foot cord makes it easy to check the Rat Zapper in the attic, false ceilings, under stairwells, and other difficult to reach places.

Also, using the Rat Tale can reduce the amount of time that you must spend in enclosed spaces such as attics. The less you have to go into enclosed spaces to check rodent traps, the better.

So, when you go to order your Rat Zapper, make sure you get the whole story. They go great with the RZ2000!

Rat Pack

The Rat Pack is an add-on battery pack for the Rat Zapper 2000. It allows any Rat Zapper 2000 ever built to use D-cell batteries instead of AA batteries. This will give you up to 6 times the battery life that you get from 4 AA batteries. This translates into 60 kills or 6 months time (as opposed to 10 kills or 30 days time with AA's).

It's great for rural homeowners, ranches, commercial facilities and Pest Control Operators. The 4 D-cell batteries provide plenty of power for zapping large rats and ground squirrels (as well as mice and voles). Also, the extra weight of the D-cell batteries helps to keep the Rat Zapper firmly planted and prevents larger rodents from tipping the Rat Zapper.

Note: Batteries are not included with the Rat Pack and we strongly recommend the use of alkaline batteries.

The Rat Pack is simple to install and use and you won't have to fuss with it for at least 6 months. You simply install two "dongles" (our name for the battery-like inserts that go in the existing Rat Zapper 2000 battery compartment).

You can then re-install the battery cover.

Finally, you invert the Rat Pack and strap it down on top of the Rat Zapper 2000 battery compartment. You will still have easy access to the Rat Zapper power switch, the indicator light and the jack for the optional Rat Tale or radio transmitter. After about six months time, you may want to test the Rat Zapper's zapping power. If the spark is small, you may want to replace the 4 D-cell batteries. You will probably never have to open the battery compartment lid again.
